The 14-19 Strategy Team, working with the 14-19 Partnership Network have developed 3 poster kits for schools and colleges titled Skills and Jobs for the Future.
The series is designed to raise young people’s awareness of the career opportunities available to them in Suffolk, the skills and attitudes that employers look for when they employ young people and the learning pathways they need to consider when making choices about their future.
Each poster will focus on a different aspect:
The first poster, Suffolk Jobs of the Future, highlights the key growth areas in Suffolk, the types and numbers of jobs they offer, examples of careers and some interesting industry facts.

This third poster set focuses on the key priority sectors for Suffolk and highlights both the types of careers young people may be interested in pursuing as well as the types of qualifications they may require during their career.
There are many opportunities within an education setting to use these posters, for example launching your own Suffolk Employability 4 Life Charter, supporting careers education and guidance to young people and their families, planning work experience or work related opportunities or as a resource to support linking what young people are learning to the wider business world. The posters can be downloaded individually or as a full set (see below).
